We had worked for these Druid Hills customers many times since 2001 and now they wanted to gut their kitchen and turn it into something dazzling that also happened to be very efficient and custom designed as a great working kitchen. The old heating system was inefficient, the space was cramped, traffic flow was difficult, colors were cold, and appliance layout just didn’t work very well. We expanded a section of the family area, redesigned the heating and cooling , installed a cork floor that is very easy on the knees, built custom cherry cabinets throughout, and chose top end culinary appliances. What really made a difference was in the design phase when we inspected each section of the whole kitchen to make sure it integrated well with the rest so that the whole effort resulted in a highly efficient, yet beautiful space. The pictures don’t even do this kitchen justice.
